HOW IT STARTED
Long before the circular economy was fully conceptualized, we embarked on a mission to reshape the future sustainability of the building industry in Canada. Collaborating closely with manufacturers and designers, we’ve created a circular solution that transforms the linear approach of material waste.
In 2017, SampleLibrary was developed. We pride ourselves on managing hundreds of thousands of pounds of materials that are made of multiple polymers, durable plastics and other specified materials that would have been otherwise destined for landfills. By keeping them out of our ecosystems, we not only prevent leaching microplastics but also mitigate future greenhouse gas emissions associated with manufacturing new products and extracting virgin resources, all while saving costs and time from transportation.
With the principle of sharing and reusing samples from manufacturers over and over again, SampleLibrary is a simple solution that makes sense for all involved.
