The Material Exchange program facilitates the exchange of material generated from the network of the Partners in Project Green, a program of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority to divert waste from landfill and move towards a circular economy. Through MEX, businesses and non-profit organizations provide information about material they would like to offer or receive, and PPG staff facilitate interactions between participants to complete and promote successful exchanges. A wide range of material is dealt with through MEX, from textiles and furniture to IT equipment and school supplies.
