People use 3M™ Premasking Tape SCPM-3 primarily for applying large, cut vinyl graphics (like signs, decals, lettering) by making them easier to handle, preventing stretching/scratching during transfer, and aiding alignment to a surface. Its low-tack adhesive holds the graphic together and provides stiffness until it’s applied to the final substrate (wall, vehicle, window), after which the tape is removed.
